Child beanie for cooler months - beginner's crochet. Suit 3-10 years old kid

Children (unisex ?) beanie. suit 3-10 years old.

Yarn
3ply (white) and 4ply (sky blue baby wonder, pink, natural fawn colour) baby yarn
60% acrylic and 40% nylon (Patons Big Baby)
Yardage: guessing less than 1 skein in total.
Crochet hook
3mm size

Stitches used:
cross -stitch, chains, double crochet and reverse single crochet edge (US symbology used)

Pattern is for newborn to 6 months.
Finished measurements:  47cm wide (9.25") x 21cm (8.25") height when laid flat.

There are 22 rounds total.  This is just something I made up as I go, tweaking the size to fit a child.  This hat stretches a bit, as it has nylon fibre in it. It is a baby yarn, so it is nice and soft, and not itchy against skin.
