My stash-buster challenge - Work in progress project #2 granny square scarf

It has been weeks now since I started using up my scrap yarns for this little granny square scarf, which I think I will convert to a throw blanket instead.  Just waiting to use up more yarns for other stuff before I get into the little scraps of colours for this project.

So far, this is what it looks like after 2 rows and 20 squares length.  Each granny square motif measures roughly 10cm x 10cm or 4"x4".
